This item is a blinking red LED with a 42″ long wire connected to a 2 AA battery holder with a convenient ON/OFF switch.

The expected battery life of 2 AA batteries (not included) in CONTINUOUS use is 1.5 YEARS. (Don’t get fooled by the purposely vague misleading “daily usage” claims of others). That means you can turn it on, and it will blink for at least 1.5 years all day and all night. (You can turn it off with the switch if you prefer; then it will last even longer that 1.5 years)

This item is simple and reliable; no complicated USB recharging, buggy sensors, etc. things to go wrong.

Can be used in a wide variety of applications:

* As a fake alarm device in a car, boat, motorcycle, etc. This can help to protect your property from potential thieves, causing them to move on to easier targets.

Car Installation: Tuck the battery pack up under the dashboard out of sight, using the double back tape to hold it in place if needed. Run the wire along the edge of the dash around to the top side edge of the dashboard. The LED should ideally just peak out from the edge; remember, a “low-key” appearance like this is more convincing.

Blinking rate of the LED is about 1 flash per second. This flash rate mimics the speed of expensive alarm systems’ LED flashing rate.
