This item is a realistic-looking (but fake) security alarm keypad with a bright blinking (red) LED wired to a 4 AAA battery holder in a high quality ABS housing. The LED bulb is red and blinks brightly (medium bright 12000 millicandela and wide angle).

The expected battery life of 4 AAA batteries (not included) in continuous use is 18 months. This item is well-made but simple and reliable; no complicated USB recharging, buggy sensors, mysterious stoppages, etc…If you have bought one of those items before, you know what we mean.

Most people install these next to the front door of their home or business (see sample images). But you can also put one next to a garage door, next to a shed door, next to your sliding glass door in back…anywhere you want to give the bad guys second thoughts, causing them to move on to easier targets.

Blinking rate of the LED is about 1 flash per second. Studies show that this rate is ideal for attracting the eye without being annoying. This flash rate also mimics speed of expensive alarm systems’ LED flashing rate.

Keypad housing size is 4-3/8″ x 3″ x 7/8″. There is no on/off switch.
