Quick Start Guide – BCA-180 Fake Alarm, Red Blinking Flashing LED with Pre-Wired Battery Holder

Instructions:

  1. Open the battery holder housing cover by sliding it in the direction of the wires.
  2. Remove the small screw that is loose inside the housing. You can optionally use this later to secure the housing after closing.
  3. Insert two fresh alkaline AA batteries according to the diagram inside the housing. (Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for low-drain devices such as this blinking LED.)
  4. Replace the housing cover by sliding it back on until it snaps into place.
  5. Slide the on/off button to the ON position.
  6. The LED will now flash red approximately once per second.
  7. You can optionally install the small screw into the screw hole on the bottom side of the housing (opposite side from the on/off switch) to prevent it from reopening. In most cases, this is not necessary as the housing latch keeps the housing cover firmly in place.
