Quick Start Guide – BCA-280 Fake Alarm, Red Blinking Flashing LED with Black ABS Box

Instructions:

  1. Open the plastic housing cover.
  2. Insert two fresh alkaline AAA batteries according to the diagram inside the housing. (Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for low-drain devices such as this blinking LED.) Be sure the orientation of the batteries is correct!
  3. Replace the housing cover by pressing it on until it snaps into place.
  4. The LED will now flash red approximately once per second.
  5. Because the battery life is quite long, we recommend that you put a reminder in your calendar for when to replace the batteries.

To open the housing to replace the batteries, just use an appropriately-sized flat screw driver blade, insert into one of the two small square openings on the end of the housing, then turn the screw driver until the housing opens. See the image below:
